SPOILER Silent Expanse Ultimate Discovery

I would like to give a huge thanks to @Oculism who helped me a lot in finding all the discoveries, this is more so his find than mine, and I wouldn't have found it without him.

So the discoveries contribute more to the lore than the quests. Not saying the quests don't contribute at all but the discoveries are doing a lot more, I really like the fact that there are discoveries that flesh out the lore more but I'd like a main questline, something like Wynn Excavation that starts at lvl 1 and continues as you level. It could tie in with important/lore rich quests like the Twain quests, Taproot etc and also give hints for discoveries.

 

Yet again, another ultimate discovery with out an item reward

 

An item reward would be really cool and makes you feel and remember that you accomplished something great, and you could save it as a trophy.

 

The Fate of the Olm discovery gives you an item reward for doing it. It’s the most complex discovery though, and the item really isn’t in game yet.

I'm guessing whatever that thing was, it was what the "Eye" is: A way for this entity to watch over all.

Quite exciting. Not only is there a new character, but we also know the origins of the Eye. Or, supposedly the Eye.

Of course, who or what this thing is remains a mystery...

Time to wait for patch 1.25

 

Yeah, the Eye looks like a literal interpretation of the (book) Eye of Sauron, which was representative of Sauron's power and influence (it was of course used as a literal eye in the movies).

 

Well, at least it took more than 24 hours for everyone to find all the Silent Expanse discoveries. Good job, you guys!

The real purpose for opening the time valley gate.

 

We actually found all of them in like 22 hours, but Tealy thought that there was another, and we spent 4 hours looking for absolutely nothing before we randomly decided to check the Ultimate again.

 

Nah, we looked around for the last Discovery for 4 hours, then gave up. Then at like midnight I found a question on the Discord about the Eyes on fenceposts and put together that it could be the last discovery, and it was
