    After asking around on discord, of 12 people who I've found who play warrior, all of them agree that the new change of flying up with the mob is annoying. Almost all of them agree that it's largely less useful than normal uppercut, and only on occasion is it actually helpful.

    This is basically a vote to switch which is activated when holding shift.

    Just in case someone wants to know why it's annoying,
    here's reason enough to change it.

    - There's a movement penalty when holding shift on the ground, but there isn't one while in the air.
    - It's often less useful, and only needed when you see an opportunity.

    I dunno how you magically read my mind, but it's cos it would be harder to do flying uppercut warrior :p

    Jokes aside, I don't think the drawback is that bad as long as you time your inputs well - as in you strafe around, do the first 2 clicks of the uppercut spell - and then you hit the crouch button and immediately do the 3rd click that triggers the spell - after that you immediately let go of the crouch button and continue to strafe. If timed well, you'd be slowed down for a mere millisecond - making the drawback of being slowed down from crouching very minimal at best.

    I ask for too many optional things, but if this was optional too then that would be great :D

    But shift in the air has NO drawback.
    And again, it's overall less useful and commonly used, its really only good on special occasions.
    So? why not change it?

    Can you confirm whether the vertical boost can be activated multiple times by spamming Uppercut?

    It can, but this suggestion doesn't change that.
    Also, it only works twice, the first uppercut shots you to the ground before the 2nd uppercut can finish.

    It's the exact same situation on my side too. You want the crouch mode to be switched so it suits your gameplay experience better, and so do the other 23 people who voted yes on the poll. I want it to stay the same since it better suits my gameplay experience. The reasoning on speed and mobility loss, and having to do more difficult inputs from having to do crouch alongside everything else applies to both scenarios.

    The only difference between my side and yours is that well... judging by this forums post, it seems that I'm the only person who wants to keep things the way they are at the moment... does this mean I'm a boomer now?

    Comon fellow flying uppercut warriors, I am in dire need of your assistance!

    But it doesn't affect you as much.
    I understand it's slightly more annoying, but it's far less annoying then this is for everyone who isn't you.

    But seriously, I am okay with the change happening. After all, improving the experience for the majority is the best option from a game design standpoint, and plus flying uppercut warrior is a funny joke for me unlike you who is seriously invested in the warrior class. As much as I want it to stay the same for my own benefit, I'm happy to make a very minimal sacrifice for the benefit of the majority :D

    As a compromise, have something in /toggle that changes which is activated by shift. Something like /toggle warup would make it so you can switch between having either flying uppercut or normal uppercut activated by shift, with having the way it is now as the default.

    I would argue that in that case that shift to fly up should be the default, since it appeals to more players.
    It's a similar thing to combat level, most people won't know its an option to change it, and there's few people who want it the way it is by default.

    I agree with Jaydon here that the buttons should be reversed. Realistically if it where the other way it would be functionally the same but less annoying. I also forsee myself accidentally killing myself when grinding over a pit of mobs with it.
