As I have come back to Wynncraft, it has come to my attention hat the blacksmith (new item buyer) is a stingy mf and IDing items and selling them back to him is now mostly unprofitable.

    Do you like this change?

While the Legendarys are overboard I'm personally fine with losing a little/makeing none.

Yep I like it. It forces players to use the trade market, wich fuels the in-game economy and takes money out of the game witch causes (some) deflation. It's not perfect, but it's a solution to some problems in the in-game economy right now.

I think it makes no sense how when you get bad rolls on a legendary you're just kinda stuck with it. Nobody will buy it on the market and blacksmith scams you and I think that's stupid. Finding a legendary doesn't happen all that often so finding one should at least give you some profit.

Also, think about this: selling normal items gives you more money than selling uniques, rares or legendaries. That's really fucked

I think that they should change the selling at the blacksmith so when you sell id-ed items, you make slightly more than the amount that it cost to roll the item originally at the item identifier (and only have a slight, if any chance of losing money). Then selling a unique to empty your inventory is fine, but it's worth using the trade market for a legendary or mythic tier item, as you can make actual profit with them (and will fuel the economy). Then you won't lose money when you're in a rush and need to sell some items - say when an item bomb party is happening, and when I play HIC I might not just sell unidentified items.

With normal items though, it should be you make a profit, (otherwise it's just better to chuck them out as it you don't identify normal items) but it's even more slight than it is now, because that would fix normal items being so much better to keep than just unique items, simply because blacksmith value.

It makes you use the player market more. I think the way it works is just fine, and in the end adds more to the game.

I think at the very least, uniques and rares should net enough of a profit to be worth picking up over emeralds. Incentivizing players to choose raw emeralds over picking up and identifying items seems like a poor choice.
