New To Wynncraft

Hi :D
I’ve decided to start playing Wynncraft, but don’t know anything about it. Is there anything I should know, or are there any tips y’all could give me?

Hey man
my advice is to stick to quests. You'll learn a lot from them. Explore a bit if you want, hang around, make some friends.
Go to the official discord if you want to ask anything or need help with something.
Other than that, a new update just got revealed, so there's a lot of talk about that right now.

Try doing a lot of quests and if high lvl people tell you stuff trust them, that it works. People tend to be very helpful (Sadly doesnt apply to everyone).

 

Explore and kinda just play the game

 

Just play the game do some quest craft soke weapons do some sungeons farm a little just sit in detlas talking to random people watch some youtube vids try some classes spend some emeralds orgenize your bank that kinda stuff you just started there isn’t really a lot to know you find it out yourself gl

 

Don't do quests. Just kill mobs till you get to level 100

 

I advice you to put important items in the bank to avoid losing them if you die (be wary off your soulpoints- you don’t want them to drop to zero).
Other than that, the others have pretty much summed it up, I’ll just add that playing together in parties (especially whilst doing dungeons) is a great way to lvl-up and have fun. Enjoy your stay :)

 

Welcome to wynn, and I hope you have a great stay here :D btw one super important tip - you can do type /itemlock whilst holding an item. This command prevents you from dropping your items with Q by accident. Helps out a ton.

Use /kill if you get stuck.
There's an online map if you've lost your way. It is outdated though, and the big black part with the strange letters (Wynnic) will be added in the next update.
There's also a wiki.
Type /itemlock to not accidentally drop important items.
The order of item quality from worst to best is normal -> unique -> rare -> legendary -> fabled (will get added in the next update) -> mythic.
Don't bother with powders until later in the game. They're not that important early on.
Keep a bunch of teleport scrolls in your bank so you can go to any city on a whim.
You can use /r to respond to the most recent message you received so you don't have to type out /msg [playername].
Use the Seaskipper in Nemract to quickly traverse the ocean.

Another thing you can do is remap your drop key to something on the other side of the keyboard, i.e. “delete” key.
