Saying that "very cool" joke is probably derived from a joke involving Tantibus always commenting that on Salted's threads. Also, this thread isn't the kind of criticism that makes people go "hmm you sound like a person that I could have a healthy discussion with that actually results in some kind of understanding/change" but more like "oh great you're berating people but not coming up with good solutions to anything nor being polite about it" and with the second case it's best to just shrug it off, because there won't be anything you can do to improve the situation then.

Also about the dern thing, I guess you're out of luck

 

If they just made dern some silly road it would be, quite frankly, a disgrace. The threads a bit muddled and nonsensical in parts, but I do actually agree with some of it; obviously not the sweary ranty parts but he does make one or two good points that I think the devs do need to look at without just shrugging it off as if none of what he said made sense. Of course he should have said it in a different way, but I think the reactions are almost as poor as the actual thread!

 

It's not just some silly road, the road to dern is pretty much supposed to be a whole province. Dern is another dimension and the road do it will still be very big.

The fuck? How is a message of giving you rewards and letting you know that you found a secret place bad? This message lets you know that finding this place WAS COOL, and you should be rewarded for it. Your gripe about giving official names to these places ruining our "imagination of what these places could be" is unrealistic and also makes it less rewarding to find these areas. Discoveries give you actual incentive (not that much but you still are rewarded for it) and let you know that this secret place was actually cool and you should be rewarded. Before that, finding a secret place pretty much meant nothing for the player, really most players had zero incentive to explore. The discoveries system was a good addition to the game, not game changing, but good. How do you find even this to whine about lmao?

I wouldn't say that he pass on all criticisms, he's one of the most active CT members that do actually replay and interact with the community in the forum.

Also, I honestly wouldn't call this thread a rant. The thread was literally shitting on the past updates, and hopping the next update would be good (which is nice at least).

I'm going to go ahead and just assume you weren't using your head when you wrote this.

First of all, I'm not reading your entire post. I have a day full of classes today and I need to use my eyes for things that matter. With that being said, please use that key called "enter" to properly format threads. This is worse than looking at that wall of chewed bubblegum in Seattle, US.

Anyway, the past few updates were pretty sizable in magnitude. Including a whole new crafting system, which is lot of work, do you realize how much work it takes to manually replace thousands of trees with interactable ones? No? Right. And that's only a small part of the grand scheme of the update. So don't say we've gotten "shit update after shit update"

His “criticisms” are just badly constructed rants that he himself has said serve no purpose but to insult/annoy the ct.
he’s been told multiple times that the ct actually worries about this stuff, but he doesn’t care. at this point they’re probs just gonna treat him like a meme until he stops lol

Very true, it's one thing to point that out and to provide feedback, it's another to just whine and call it a "shit" update.

Damn he got murdered. Here’s my thoughts.

Even though he comes off as a whiney, bitchy kid, his opinions are still opinions, unpopular as they are. I think even with his terrible formatting/grammar, and bad logic, he should not be made fun of to this extent. Challenged, yes like what @Red-Eyed Knight did, or ignored. What started to boil my blood is when literally a CT says reading this post gave me a stroke but is not punished and then @RazorGuild called the mods the horrible insult “skinny milk-drinking losers” and gets punished.

Also, some of the CT and some of the community is acting really immature here, basically insulting and being passive aggressive towards him towards him. Heck even Salted responded but didn’t stop this.

Finally, this thread should be locked. This is pointless.

Look, I get your frustration, but this just comes off as you bitching and whining about "wyncrfit tem don't do wut I leiks"
I hate the amount of grinding that was added with the crafting update, but it gave something more than just grinding, half the world was... oh you know...

Look, I get it, wynncraft isn't all that fun to you anymore but you cant just say all the recent updates have been "shit" because you don't personally enjoy them 100%.
A lot of pain staking work goes into making wynncraft, wyncraft! It doesn't show 100% of the time, but that's not the point.

You should've made your post better to not come off as bitching and instead make it sound like you've had a distaste for the recent updates and that you hope to god this one is good.

Nah, the road to dern is the province, dern is the realm.
Road to dern is insanely similar however because dern slowly changed road to dern into a no-mans-land, which is why it's not considered a province, even though it is the landmass of one.

That's all speculation, but it is the best guess we have.
