Well, I'm Bored, Lets Try To Make A Build That Works With Collapse I Guess

Well, I've been getting comments that Collapse is horrible in a build so I've decided to make this silly thread to see if I or we can make a build which is good or at least ok. For some reason, I just want to see if you can take a spear that is mediocre, like collapse, and turn it into something plausible. so I have constructed 2 builds, an elemental heavy hitter and a kind of hybrid build of the previous two which i have no idea if it is even a good idea. All credits for the spell spammer build goes to NicBomb as this was on another of my posts asking about why collapse sucks and this is where I got the inspiration to write this post, too.

All builds have kinda low dps

 

Knucklebones overall is just unsafe to use, only something like Apoc can reasonably use it (and still be off worse than with usual tierstacks).
Since you seem to really want a melee collapse build (and Nicbomb's spell build is really solid), here's the best I could make out of it:

I wouldn't say Knucklebones is always worse to use. It allows for slightly higher damage builds on weapons with lifesteal, at the cost of losing pretty much all of your lifesteal. Which, yeah, is pretty bad, but not zero benefit if you don't care about the lifesteal.
