I'm Baaaaaack (maybe)

Howdy! I'm Blake and I used to play this and be decently active on the forums in ~2014-2015 or so. I got on Wynncraft with a friend who also used to play as a joke a few days ago as a joke and here I am actually playing again. We'll see how long this lasts, because I have no clue how long I'll stick around but it's nice to be back.

I see you left a bit after the wipe. (That's what we are calling the forum wipe of sept. 2015.)
Here are some major change that might help you put the flow of time into perspective.

Fishing (and mining and farming and woodcutting) is in the game now, so fibunny's suggestion sort-of happened? Everything has been reworked at least twice? We are waiting for Dern (or at least, the "Road To Dern" area)
If you remember Corkus (Link HERE) it was added (it was suggested in 2015 or so, so you might have heard of it). As a massive island semi-province. No, not a joke. It's serious.
The game is a lot more fun? There are daily objectives, optional chalenges you can pick when creating a class, and such. There's even a huge global market inspired by the likes of runescape.

Some people, like Pretz and plasma have left. But there are a still a few from the pre-gavel times on the forums. Do you remember selvut? Still here, still content team, and now in the brand new item team.

(And as some people will suggest, start a new class and play 5-10 levels to learn most changes. It helps a lot. There's also a "returning players, read this" thread somewhere, so it might help.)

 

Thank you so much! I did end up playing a new character to about level 20 with some friends before hopping back to my old character, but there was still a lot I didn't know, like Corkus being added!
