Just a question for the general public I want to ask but why is it that a lot of people find Collapse as a bad mythic item? I mean its negative modifiers are bad but can be dealt with while most of the people I've seen say Warp is a good item even though it has some pretty horrible modifiers to health and mana regen and would be really hard to deal with if you get lucky with your rolls with Warp.

Collapse is considered bad because it generally deals less DPS than Thrundacrack and Idol for spell and Alkatraz and Apocalypse for melee, and at the same time Collapse is much more glassier than them. Warp is good because you can actually get enough mana regen to spell spam with it if you pretty much seek out mana regen items in your build. Plus, Warp apparently deals more damage than Fatal, but in most builds usually doesn't because one has to slap as much MR as you can onto a Warp build, while Fatal being a lot more flexible. Also, mage has heal, so countering the -HPR really isn't needed that much, but people still tend to do it anyway.

EDIT: Here's two builds to compare, one using Thrunda and one using Collapse (I'm not the greatest builder though so you might want to ask someone more experienced).

    Thrundacrack: https://wynndata.tk/s/d7wut9
    Thrundacrack (using new hive): https://wynndata.tk/s/ibrv4w
    Collapse: https://wynndata.tk/s/rua37v

You can swap out items in the Thrundacrack build to get more defense but less damage. The Thrundacrack build isn't even built for full damage, it's kind of inbetween. However, I tried my best to max the damage of that Collapse build (again I'm kinda rubbish at building, especially with rainbow) and it barely touched Thrundacrack's damage.

    :(

Alright fine let me get a comparison of Collapse melee vs Apoc melee

    Apoc Melee (Damage): https://wynndata.tk/s/mx9n5s
    Apoc Melee (Tanky): https://wynndata.tk/s/vZqgNA
    Collapse Melee (Damage): https://wynndata.tk/s/7nlk3s
    Collapse Melee (Tank????): https://wynndata.tk/s/jumsnq

I swear I saw a really powerful Apoc build somewhere before but I don't remember where. I'm now noticing I'm turning your thread into a builds thread so I'm just gonna stop for now

I mean, here's my idea of a build with Collapse. I more had in mind a build that was built like a tank but still did modest amounts of damage and the only mythic spear that I could use was collapse. If I felt like having even more defenses, I could use the infused hive spear but I would sacrifice even more damage in the process. Yes, I could get crafted armor that could up my elemental def. or dmg. but I don't have the materials or exp. in armor making or tailoring to do so.

Why would u do that. Collapse has -def and the damage of warriors which you call modest is in most cases garbage. Pls build melee.

You aswell just use Apoc or buy an Alka if one wants to build warrior melee

There's one problem with the damage output... You have no mana regen and pretty bad intel, only having merely 3 mana steal. If you want to have any good damage output as a warrior, you should get some mana regen and bump up your intelligence and build less tanky. At the least, if you want to use mana steal, you'll want to get super slow and probably get more mana steal than you'd normally get for mana regen. Warrior is already pretty tanky anyways, so sacrificing some defense for actual damage output is definitely worth it.

Honestly, Collapse isn't that bad (though still pretty mediocre). It feels really awkward to make a build with, though.
