What Is Dern?

Please someone make a thread called Dern for Dummies or something because I have no clue what Dern is and I hardly know anything about the lore of Wynn so in someone's free time please make an entire thing about the entire lore of Wynn...

No just kidding please just tell me everything you know about Dern and how as long is it isn't against the rules but there are plenty of Dern speculation threads.

Dern is a place, weather it be a realm or a land mass I do not know, but it is a place that spreads a corruption type thing, and it will be high level, and spooky

 

province opposite of gavel. (by opposite i mean its the complete opposite of gavel. gavel is originally, in its normal state a place of light, while dern is a place of darkness.)

it isn't really a "province", according to grian, but we should think of it as one. a lot of evidence suggests its more of another realm, like the light realm. the "road to dern" is an area infected with darkness that leads to dern somehow, or has a portal to dern.

 

Dern was a province home to endermen like citizens that was overtaken by the dark realm (opposite of the light realm in gavel).
Bob is probably of dernic descent as it's described he had grey skin and we don't know who's his father.
Bob was also the one that sealed away the dernic beast on dead island.

 

Dern will probably be like what you see in the quest you do to get access to the dungeon in Ancient Nemract.

 

who is hyped for them to release another ruddy bob quest where you venture to get some items from across the map to discover some lore about his mum or family and fight him again :)?
ngl kinda think that bob might have died in Dern tho and ended up buried in nesaak

 

It's probably both.
As far as we know, dern referrers to the realm as well as the province.
Road to dern is what they call it to separate the two, otherwise, they would have the same name.

 

According to the Wynncraft wiki, it is said the Eye in every single Wynncraft logo has a possibility that it is related to Dern.

 

If the eye was in the logo ever since the beggining why would they release something on it just now? A long time Wynncraft has existed, the eye has ti mean more and have a deeper meaning than a connection to Dern

Terraria? As far as I know you can talk about plenty of other games without getting banned, heck you can even talk about competing minecraft servers without getting banned.

 

Dern has also been planned since the beginning. The first notice of it was made even before the gavel hype train started

There used to be Dern Island where Dead Island exists now. It was quite dark with a lot of spikes (similar to corruption spikes) and had level 70 "Dern Immigrants". It only lasted 2 updates though (1.10+1.11)
