Enchanted Textures

I have a question: Is it possible to make specific items have a different texture when they're enchanted?
That's because I'm currently making a texture pack and I want to make an enchanted diamond sword look better than a normal one.

It would be great if anyone can help me.

check the item bound texture pack, it uses the information like enchants to determine the texture of the item.
