    Minecraft:
I have a few questions regarding the way mob drops work.
First: I know that local mob level influences the level of loot in loot chests and that if there are no mobs present within a certain range the player level performs the same function, but does anyone know if the level of a local mob acts as the mean level of the contained loot, or as some kind of maximum/minimum? As an aside, does anyone know what the range limit on the level influence of mobs is?

Second: I know that loot bonus has a depreciating effect beyond +20%, but does anyone know the formula for real loot bonus?

Third: Does level disparity effect mob loot drops? I ask this because when using two different characters with different levels and similar loot bonuses, I thought that I was seeing more loot and higher quality loot from the same enemy. Note that this is entirely anecdotal and it could just be a case of mistaken perception.

Fourth: I know that there are a number of games, especially if real money is involved, that publish probability tables for their loot mechanics. Does the Wynncraft team do this and if not, are there any plans to do this?

Fifth: There are particular mobs that are the only source of certain weapons/armor/accessories. Does this effect the normal loot distribution? Especially in the case of mobs that are the source of multiple such exclusive drops, such as the Shadow Spears Bandits or the Emerald Knives Bandits which are the two sources of the Black Armor set, a part of the Bandit Accessory set and in the case of the Shadow Spears Bandits, the Shadow Spear. I specifically note that the Black Armor set seems to be disproportionately rarer than the Bandit Accessory set or the Shadow Spear.

I haven't been able to find satisfactory answers to these questions, so I hope that someone else might be able to enlighten me. I would appreciate any help that could be provided and welcome's any additional questions other's might have.

First: For gear, you can obtain loot +/- 4 levels of the loot chest level. The range limit is something like 30-50 blocks (I haven't tested to exactness, but I've occasionally had mobs in the far distance not affect the chest level).

Second: For mobs, there is no depreciation. For chests, 20% -> 20%, 40% -> 35%, 60% -> 45%. 80% -> 50% (presumably it's linear within these bounds, but we've never had more info than this). After that, +5% -> +1%. Note that once a chest fills up, you aren't really gaining much more loot, so very high loot bonus is mainly effective for lootruns with many T1/T2 lootchests, or for mob grinding for ingredients.

Third: You won't get higher tier powders below a certain level, and apparently you'll get less normal items at higher levels. There are probably other modifications, but as with many mechanics, Wynncraft is not very clear about how anything actually works.

Fourth: I'd love to know this too. Good luck getting substantive info out of Wynncraft.

Fifth: Certain statements in the past imply that a mob should have a constant chance to drop a set item, namely a rate between unique and rare, which would mean that a mob that drops multiple set items has a lesser chance of dropping a particular one, versus a mob that drops a single set item. I don't know for sure. If this is true, the Shadow Spear would probably just be added to the regular Rare items pool, decreasing the drop rates of all other Rares slightly but not affecting any other tiers.

Many thanks Druser. This does clear up a number of questions I had.
