Bit confused to what you're asking here. Maybe because I haven't really dealt with top-end items before, but are you saying that you want everyone with a Mythic currently to have to basically identify their Mythics from scratch? So if I buy an Identified Mythic from the Trade Market before the Major ID update, then really, I'm just buying an unidentified Mythic?
Isn't that unfair to a lot of people that are content with their current Mythics... maybe? Am I missing something?

I've had to edit my post now, haha: so if they're not being re-identified, then what exactly does being changed in a "significant way" mean?

I'm all for putting the new ids on some mythics, this could be a really good oppurtunity to give some mythics currently lacking a gimmick or usefulness something extra (or, depending on the specific id, nerf it a bit).

When are we getting teasers for new ids though? :p

i think he means that the mythics don't just have their stats rebalanced a little like what they normally did
new ids on mythics could be a significant change

Well I mean wouldn't it be best if we knew what kind of new identifications mythics would get? hint hint?

Eh? I don't think anyone would object to their Mythics having new IDs added, thus becoming better... I can't think of any rebuttal for that.

I had to read these parts a couple of times cos it confused me a bit, is this saying that when the 'special ID' is added to currently existing mythics, the 'special ID' would get randomly rolled but the 'normal IDs' would remain the same (apart from item rebalances)? I saw your reply to the other guy but I don't wanna misunderstand anything so I wanna make sure xd and ty for making this thread

The newly added identification would be randomly rolled why it's other stats remain unchanged. If other things are changed, it keeps its roll, but not its number. Gets a little confusing, I know.

Let's say, for simplicity sake, I have a warp with 200WS. It gets a new identification with a value of 100. That 100 is randomly rolled while the 200WS is unchanged. This is theoretical for the sake of explanation.

As I said before, the problem with this is the fact that we don't know what new IDs are coming. It's understandable that y'all can't publicize them yet (or hell we wont see them until update actually arrives) but we need some sort of example.

For instance, you guys are adding a new ID that has a % chance to make spells not use mana. This would probably be used among water builds, but you get the idea.

It would be added for things like Galleon or Lament, for example.

In this scenario, you'd have to be nerfing the MS or another stat.

Another example. An identification that would randomly buff one of your other ID's by a certain %.
You use a singu, and your singu has 500 raw spell. You have added this new identification on the singu and you have got a max roll of 10%. You have a 10% chance for this to activate and whenever it activates your raw spell will be +550 instead.

For this, you'd have to nerf raw spell or %spell or even slightly nerf melee and melee% aswell.

These ID examples probably weren't the best examples but hopefully you get the idea - mythics are a sensitive topic and if people see that their mythic has been touched because the good IDs they got got nerfed and the new ID that was added on their weapon/armor got a really shit roll they would be pretty pissed.

TL:DR; It's hard to answer "should we add the new IDs to mythics" without knowing what new IDs are coming.

Also just gonna mention it again since you said you don't want to "leave mythics behind" - I still think all mythics need a major ID. it just makes sense. (to me, atleast)

Generally I like the idea of new identifications, what I absolutly don't like and in my opinion is not acceptable is, that like dukio explained
will not happen or atleast something similiar to it.

Changing the mythics is a good idea but destroying the hard work people put into it to buy mythics with good id's is not ok and I'm pretty sure everyone who owns a good ided mythic or worked for one can agree. That's why I voted no.

We're gonna need something similar to the elemental revamp beta to see what changes are coming

Any ids that affect the price of the item too much will inevitably cause some people to be frustrated, and so a beta would allow these people to provide feedback. However, with the communication that we're used to from the wynn team, I don't know if this would be very forthcoming

Without knowing what changes are being made, I can't say whether or not this is a good idea. Some ids may have negative impacts to the QOL of items without actually changing damage numbers or any major stats

Major ids should be fine since its something that is static for every item of the same name

Edit: The only group of players that this could affect negatively are players with mythics already. Polls like these don't work because most players are not affected. Asking the community as a whole to vote on something only the top 1% are affected by is never a good idea. I'm not even sure that people without mythics should have a say in this conversation.

If the change goes wrong, do you really want to alienate the people who spend the most time on wynn?

However, if its done right and with lots of community integration, it could be good for the economy/build environment
