Stuck On Meaningful Holiday

So basically I was at the part of the quest where Nick sees no food in the crate and decides to announce to the whole ballroom about the situation. My server was about to restart so I thought, "maybe it'll pick back up where I left off". Nope. I logged back in and he stopped talking. So I just did /kill and made my way back there through the quest path. When I reached Nick, he could be interacted with and the main objective for the quest said "Talk to Nick", and that's it. Help?

 

Try doing previous steps in the quest and see if that works! Sorry for the late reply.

 

I think I figured it out. I basically did what you said, and then tried to basically leave the ball room by teleporting past Nick when I couldn’t. It was a weird solution but worked nonetheless! Thanks for your reply though.
