Player Heads Not Loading (please Help!!)

Ok, so I'm new to Wynncraft, and could be mistaken, but I think I found a problem. It's not that big of a deal, but it kind of bothers me.

My problem is that none of the player heads load, so there's a bunch of normal player heads everywhere. It makes stuff look like this

I'm only using the wynncraft resourcepack if that's the issue, but I don't think it is.

Anyways, if anyone could help me out, or offer possible fixes, that would be great

Try clicking on Wynncraft server (in mc menu) and click on options (or whatever it's called) then make resource packs to enabled. See if that fixes it. If not, you will probably have to delete the server pack (more trouble, I don't wanna write it if I don't have to.)

 

I'm not really sure how i did it, it was like that when I first started

I tried disabling the resource pack, and deleting it and then re-downloading it, but neither of those worked

What version are you playing on? 1.12 is the most stable. Plus you can use Wynntils, the best mod ever.

Try using the mod wynntils. It sounds like the texture pack loads incorrectly, and wynntils should fix it.

 

Don't have an img from in-game, but I can confirm this is happening. My group and I were doing the quest "Canary Call" (don't remember exact name srry) yesterday and the Fleris (magma cube) was a player head as well xD. Looked a little strange.

I don’t think player heads have anything to do with the texture pack, it could be some connection issues with Mojang’s skin servers (I believe that’s what Minecraft uses to manage player heads, although I may be wrong since I don’t know much on this topic)

 

Texture pack has nothing to do with heads. No need to confuse them. This is an issue with their connection to the mojang servers - this can be a number of things:
- firewall/proxy/VPN blocking the mojang servers (unlikely)
- glitch with the newer version of player skin loading (added in 1.13) when connecting to a server of an older version (1.12)
- Malware/other mods/something downloaded is interfering with the skin downloads.

Highest chance that it is the middle one, so the solution would be to change to version 1.12.2. Don’t add wynntils. Adding forge would just make things messy, as they add their own code into all the skin loading. Also I don’t believe that wynntils does anything to the texture pack (even though it’s irrelevant to this conversation, because skins have nothing to do with texture pack), aside from making it not download with every log in (which minecraft and wynncraft now do by default).

It was only a suggestion. Why do you dislike Wynntils so much?

 

I don’t dislike wynntils. I use it every time I play. I only pointed out that wynntils is very irrelevant to this issue, and won’t solve this problem.
