Any Tips?

Just began what should I be doing first?

 

Quests. Always do all quests (a few exceptions, like Tower Of Ascension and The Hive) since they give lots of XP and often rewards.

Second should be dungeons. The rewards are usually good and the xp is nice.

Grinding at specific spots (that spawn enemies marked with a star) also gives lots of XP, but is less enjoyable.

Professions aren’t really good until endgame, and they are optional. It’s your choice.

But always ask help if you need.

 

I just got the Tower Of Ascension quest, why shouldn't i do it?

 

The quest gets increasingly harder as you progress through it, and you'll need to level up your class a lot if you want to survive it.

Also, the XP reward is significantly diminished if you complete the quest at a lower level. I think you need to be level 75(?) or higher in order to receive the maximum amount for the quest, so wait until then to complete the final stage of it.

 

Im level 76 assassin, how does one even survive all the floors above it? those shooty mobs are INFURIATING!

 

With difficulty.

 

Good build can do toa, or just bring a group

Not entirely true. It's doable, but very difficult.

 

Don't be a smartarse lol, it's hard enough to solo at level 100

 

ToA should not be hard at level 100, even with a mediocre non-build.

 

What @Druser said, with the right build and items you can def do toa. And at 100 with just a decent/mediocre build you can easily do it. People don't consider toa hard anymore.

 

A tip for everyone struggling with ToA at 75 (or even at 100, you boomer), use multiple weapons to exploit elemental weaknesses.

Use nii-shako and 7 morph, then spam intel.

For weapons I used chakram and water bobs mythic dagger to abuse death’s water weakness.

Don’t be afraid to use skill pots too, if you’re struggling with death.
