How Did You Find Wynncraft?

I'm just curious where all of y'all found out about the server.

 

Just a good old craftedmovie fan before Salted started his Misadventure on Wynncraft
but hey, it turned out great!

 

My sister recommendended the server so I checked it out and I instantly got hooked. That was 4-5 years ago xD.

 

Grian XD. Watched the video and was like- this looks almost as good as hypixel (I was only playing that then). I was wrong. It is WAAAAAYYY better, with something I thought I couldn't experience before I was really old. Nostalgia. I recently defeated the CoW and was really touched by how far I had come: from someone who didn't understand the id system.

 

Once I was very bored in March 2016 and for fun just searched "Minecraft mmorpg" on YouTube. When I did that, I then found myself watching InTheLittleWood's Wynncraft series which made me interested and eventually addicted. Sure his videos were VERY outdated (from 2014), but having the game be super different and updated turned out to be for the better.

 

I was in a discord call and my friends were playing it so I decided to give it a try.
They also told me mage was the best class (this was pre nerf instant heal though so at least then it had a chance).
I definitely did not absolutely despise it's abysmal dps and swap to assassin after getting to level 14.

nyan_cat_2000 the really big gamer introduced me to this place eons ago, been trapped here ever since.

 

I used to only play warlords in hypixel when I first got Minecraft. I had great fun with that, and that's where I kinda enjoy RPG games.

So I asked my friend, "Is there any Minecraft server that is MMORPG?", and he told me to try Wynncraft. That's when I know about it and I still love this server today, more fun than hypixel warlords for me at least.

 

Got bored from playing on another server, and I was really interested into mmorpg type games. Searched online for “best rpg servers” and found this. Joined about 3 years ago, but recently just got back into it.

 

CraftedMovie. I remember one of the mods talking to me about how Salted started up a new RPG server called Wynncraft. My 9 year old brain put two and two together and knew that RPG meant magic. I ignored the mod because I thought “magic isn’t possible in Minecraft! I’m not playing a modded survival server!” And went back to whatever I was doing on that server.

Then, in August, I asked about it again for some reason, and someone in chat said “oh. there’s no mods required.


i IMMEDIATELY typed in the ip and started trying it out. It was buggy, glitchy, laggy, and the best version of Wynncraft sentimentally to me.

Then in October, my brother really liked the name I had on my account and begged us to switch. He got my account, and I got his. This is the account you see me playing on.

I forget what the name was. Neither can I check, since he sold the account 3-4 years ago to someone else lol.

That’s the story, I believe. My brain’s memory cards or whatever are too full of crystal clear memories of what my crush said to a girl sitting next to me in math class on some random day, or something oddly specific of that sort.

anyways I found wynn (I think?) through some friends and they were bad so they quit and then I cssted abused myself to 100 cried, then 1.18 came got 104 cried and quit. See guys Wynncraft is fun and awesome!

I stumbled upon this server while looking for Minecraft rpg servers, and I found the description interesting, so I tried the server out. Over 4 years later, this server is the only one that I still play on regularly to this day.

 

back in the day one of the big mc youtubers, minecraftuniverse, made a mini-series on wynn with his friend logdotzip.

 

I think I found it when I saw Grian’s video called questing in minecraft, showcasing memory paranoia. Immediately hooked.

 

AntVenom surprisingly. He made a video over 5 years ago now talking about his top 5 minecraft server minigames, and he put Wynncraft as number 2 even if it is the whole server itself. It looked interesting so I gave it a try and I've been playing ever since.

 

One day like 3 or 4 years ago, I was watching Minecraft videos on YouTube. One of the recommendations was a Wynncaft series' first episode. I clicked on it because it looked interesting. Half a second after I've finished watching this video, my immidate thought was: "I WANT MORE!!!". Unfortunately I didn't have Minecraft back then, but I knew the first thing I would've done if I had had it was to log onto Wynncraft. And that's what I exactly did when I got the game.
I've been playing since then.
