i mean basically combat would have to come out with ghost monuments so either

A) keep combat as-is and have ghost monuments (major feature, ability to absorb binding, lore, etc.) sooner
B) take time to make combat and have ghost monuments come out at the same time (theyll be better, more complex, more fun, etc.)

for y'all wondering, ghost monuments are large swarms of ghost in a Rakatok obelisk, basically dungeons for a person to go through, if successful, absorbs ghost

Nakath Magal's tomb is first ghost monument, FYI, y'all'll need some ghost souls before shit goes down it's "ghostcallers" for a reason

"When champions were a common occurrence, before the Omni-wars of Ullid Daas and the separation of realms, my tomb was the common meeting ground. It was common practice, a rite of passage, for champions to meet here. This place was intended for this, which is why the protective magic in just this chamber is strong. Here, you are separated from the rest of time. Look outside."

You all look outside. The sun is moving in reverse with incredible speed.

The spectre of Nakath Magal appears, imposing over the tomb chamber.

"I am not dead. My last battle is ongoing. Just before my "death" I found the truth and had it hastily added to this construction. My entire construction crew was dead of a never before seen plague, and I myself was considerably weakened, but alas, I did not die. I do not end. I buried myself here, and with my final breaths lured the spirit of the puppeteer to this place. He is imprisoned along with me. The puppeteer wishes to breach the great barrier, and he is known to most as the Elder God. He very nearly succeeded. The stars going out do not mean they are gone. They are moving. And somehow, he has leaked out of the prisons that used to bind him. The gods are convening, by closing the Veil shut, they kept him sealed to here and Oblivion, keeping other realms safe.

Go now, activate the altar. Use the book. Release me."

Yeah, you've read at least one, and probably (hopefully) the teaser book. Anyways, here's the summary of Nakath Magal and what you remember.

Nakath Magal was one of the most famous Mallakar emperors of all time. If there was ever an emperor worthy of the Eternal Throne, it would likely be Nakath. He was also a famed scholar, mage, and warrior. He was named Archmage of Defense of the Mallakar empire shortly before the Golden Age of the last Dragonite Empire (An alternate term for the Mallakar Empire, as a famous poet described the Mallakar mountain ranges as "of a fiercer soul than Dragonite, where the cold burns dark with bite", as the Mallakar empire has nearly always held Mallakar as it's capital and rarely ever loses the territory of the mountains it's named after). He was nearly universally loved by his people, and his tomb lays carved into the cliffside of the Mallakar mountains, facing Onas. He fought in the Omni-wars, most known for his fighting in the Second Great Time War towards the latter end of Gah. His tomb was only recently discovered as it's discreet but powerful cloaking illusion wore off. As is the case often with time travelers, their body tends to become a Time Wound, distorting the way time moves in and around it, making his coffin alone possibly one of the most dangerous places in Androzaan. It is rumored he did not end the Second Great Time war, but instead trapped it.


You feel the nagging sense that you should place the mysterious book on the altar.
