    Explore. :/
    Time to over simplify.
You have a pool of power. Anything can be done by using varying amounts of power. Using too much power does bad things to you.

You attempt to grab hold of the rubble. Instead your hand phases through. It appears to be an illusion used to keep you back.

You see rows of crystal rectangular prisms lining the hallway, in each of them displaying different images, then the barrier pushes you back.

Behind you, the familiar presence of Darian draws closer.

As your hand reaches closer to the flames on the obelisk, dread fills your mind. Coldness. Fear. Anger. As you try to fight against it, you are flung back by unseen magical force. Some noble-looking fellow rides by you on a horse.

    [SPEAK TO HIM]
    [IGNORE HIM]
    ________________________________
Layla appears to be inside the tomb, along with some buffoon clamoring around, trying to burn themselves on the blue flames coming from the obelisks

    [RIDE TO LAYLA]
    [STOP TO SPEAK TO BUFFOON]

You may observe the other three, but you may only use two of the four.

The pearls appear to be some kind of teleportation device. Crushing them beneath your heel allows for instantaneous travel for you or your allies to anywhere you or your allies have been too already.

Squeezing the Gem between your thumb and pointer fingers makes the metal patterns expand out into a gilded, precious metal sword.

The orb appears to be only be openable through magic. After attempting to unlock it several times, it unlocks, opening up the shell to reveal in the center a yolk of pure, titanium white, brilliant, glowing white light that illuminates the entire room. It appears to be an Unbinder, a device that strips souls and object of their binding, and can even store multiple full souls away from their physical form.

The bandits turn around, fear in their eyes. They drop their weapons, swords, armor, and clothing. Now naked, penniless, and defenseless, they attempt to scramble.

A voice in your head speaks to. "Good, good. While perhaps not the most commendable choice of action, it was certainly a good display of your newfound powers." said the unmistakable voice of Orbijan.

    [THANKS]
    [HARASS BANDITS FURTHER]
    [ALLOW THEM TO FLEE]

    Why not do both

    “Hey Layla, and you.”

    Darian looks towards the buffoon

He thinks. “So me and Layla, champions, were called to this tomb. I think he’s probably one too because who would be here at this time and eho would be at a tomb besides a grave robber if he isn’t one. Might be a grave robber but doesn’t seem like it.”

“Which god?” Darian said to the buffoon.

    Welp, another person.
Hmm. I'm not to comfortable here. Too small of a space, too many people.
Move out of the way of the book (and conviently closer to the exit).
    "You know what this is?"

I did the names like (something) because I dont remember their names and im on mobile.

    You find several things;
    [76 Currency Total]
    [Steel Gauntlets]
    [Crossbow & Bolts]
    [Sword]
    > Take two of the four
The library is bare before you. The largest known collection of knowledge in the Mallakar Empire. In a central area is a giant statue of Nakath Magal, holding a Mysterious Book. You have the urge to use the Unbinder on the statue.

    [USE IT ON STATUE]
    [USE IT ON GUARD]
    [DON'T USE IT]

A cold wind blows through the tomb.

"COME. COME FORTH. ACTIVATE THE ALTAR AND THE OBELISKS THAT WARD MY CONSCIOUSNESS FROM THIS PLACE, AND THE TOMB OF NAKATH MAGAL IS YOURS TO PLAY WITH AS YOU SEE FIT."

Star maps and constellations on the ceiling glow a golden color.
The mysterious book rattles in your satchel at your side.

[PLACE MYSTERIOUS BOOK IN ALTAR SLOT]
[ASK SPIRIT QUESTION: "Who are you?"]
[ASK SPIRIT QUESTION: "What is this place?"
    [ASK SPIRIT QUESTION: "Other."]

The markings on the obelisk glow electric blue as your place your hand on them. You hear the faint whispers of "COME. COME FORTH. ACTIVATE THE ALTAR AND THE OBELISKS THAT WARD MY CONSCIOUSNESS FROM THIS PLACE, AND THE TOMB OF NAKATH MAGAL IS YOURS TO PLAY WITH AS YOU SEE FIT." coming from the tomb interior as the ground shakes.

The greater hall area is several thousand square feet.

sorry for the wait i guess

would y'all like an actual combat system?

    Oooooo.
    O.
    Okay.
Move away from people and closer to the exit. Closer is closer, regardless of how short it is. xd
    Repeat the question though.
What are you comfortable with? Roleplayijg everything gives the DM more control and allows creativity. Making a system places set rules so we know what we can or cannot do (but you got to balance it right).

    Minecraft:
The statue shifts in individual sections, fracturing and cracking. It explodes, then reforms into a new shape. Again and again. It then reincarnates back to it's original form, where it explodes into a shower of light.

The snowy mountain path is long and windy. Gazing through the bleak sky, you can make out the light of rows of obelisks simultaneously lifting up and glowing a hearty, light, electric blue. Three vaguely familiar presences surround you in the area below.

    "Welcome, fourth."

The combat system would be turn-based, similar to KotOR, with skill/feat trees that you can upgrade to get new abilities. Y'all will start out with some abilities, be able to "buy" other abilities, and some rarer abilities will be secret (found in places that are either along the main storyline's path or not) that you will have to fight/puzzle your way through. Elemental defenses and armor will obviously be a part, as well as geography to some extent (you are on a grid), allowing you to move to escape/dodge melee or ranged attacks. Magic and regular attacks will function differently, and some people/characters/abilities may be able to manipulate the geography (barriers/traps etc.) All damage/enemy health will be proportional to your ability, so your opponent's health will be based off your own health, as well as your damage, etc. so imagine the health formula looks something like this.

    O = Opponent Health
    Y = Your Health
M = Median Damage of Your Unlocked Feats/Attacks

    Easy Enemy: O = (3/4*Y)+150+(1/10*M)
    Medium Enemy: O = Y+50+(1/10*M)
    Hard Enemy: (11/10*Y)+100+(1/5*M)
    Boss: (3/2*Y)+250+M

So if your health is 1K and your Median Feat Damage is .5K

    Easy: 950 HP
    Medium: 1100 HP
    Hard: 1300 HP
    Boss: 2250 HP

Now that I think of it, that formula in particular may suck as the hardest difficulty could be dead with 5 hits, but I guess it depends on how hard I want it to be, how good your armor is, and how heavy they hit. I could maybe make the opponent damage be waaaay higher than their health? Idk

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
    Had to search this up.
Time to bring up the issue of creativity.
Wrapping and pulling a garrote around someone's neck will deal tiny damage instead of instant killing.
And what if I used like a water controlling spell to rid the body of all its water?
Perhaps a shifting earth spell to collapse an entire city?

Yeah that would be fine for people to make their own feats/attacks, cool idea, but I'd have to make sure they're balanced, i.e. no "I snap my fingers and they all die"
