Why Tho

So a while ago I bought a diamond blue mask, millenium, crystal and stalagmites. so the older version.
Now since the update (which i hated) I stopped playing for a few months. A few days ago I came back and gave wynn a second chance, and it was actually not too bad, until I looked in my bank to check out everything I had and saw that those items I bought were suddenly changed to iron. I mean like I spent a lot of emeralds to buy those and yeah they dont have the best stats so now they're basically useless.

So let me ask you again Wynncraft.

Why tho???

 

1. Selling old variants of items for more than their modern counterparts are worth is against the rules.

2. Iron is their intended texture, and has been since 2015. Not diamond. You should probably reconsider which party's at fault here, before complaining about incorrect things being corrected.

nah for real tho its my fault buying waw yes no shit you figured that out? Im just wondering why all of a sudden they're changed back now. You said iron has been their texture sinds 2015 i mean im not sure if I'm correct but I think it's 2019 so yeah not really answering my question and not really helping.

Blue mask, millennium, crystal and stalagmites due to their level are iron armor items and thus are now iron. Diamond items are usually level 80+. As for them being useless, it really depends on how good your items are, people pay a lot of LE for a good blue mask. No one really cares about whether or not an item is diamond or iron.

 

What?? Do you think I'm retarded??? Hahhahahahah idc about selling blue masks or whatever it is you're talking about. And I'm sorry but there were people who cared about having the old ones, me for example so again no help.

I will ask again just to clarify cause you don't seem to get my question.

Why did they change my antique items, which I payed a lot for, suddenly?

 

Why leave something unintentional in the game, when you can avoid doing that?

 

If you're asking why they changed the stats, it's because those items needed re-balancing. Countless items have been changed throughout the years, and although some people don't like it when their items get changed, it balances out the game overall.

If your current item's stats are good then they might still be worth a fair amount, and even though they may have gotten nerfed, the items you mentioned are pretty good. I wouldn't call them "useless"

The change from diamond to iron was just a visual fix, it had nothing to do with how good the equipment is.

 

Legacy Items (like your diamond blue mask or my diamond frosted leggings) were changed back in economy update.
If your stuff had for example fire aspect (the old system) your stuff now still has it (unless you try to put it in trade market... )
