Build First Attempt At Building In A While, Input Needed

I used to be a builder for Wynncraft under a different account but took a couple of years off, recently I got back into building and was debating on honing back into it, here's my first build for the first time in years, it's just a few things that I thought would end up looking nice, let me know what you guys think!

I guess to end the thread, do you guys think it would be worth still trying to improve my building style and reapplying for the build team? Thanks for taking time to go through this thread!

 

I see alot of potential within you as a builder, I think that you just need your building style and techniques updated, because you are a couple of years behind.

Now lets get on to what you can improve!

1. Pallet
Please consider updating your pallet, try to incorperate new blocks such as concrete powder, concrete, and the plethera of different stone slabs and stairs. Currently the pallet is looking older than my great grandmother.

2. Technique.
Please dont slab spam. Spamming slabs and different blocks does not equate to detail.



3. Trees
Classic example of what not to do when building a tree in minecraft. Leaves plastered onto branches. instead what you should try and do is make the tree talker and branches longer and more numerous, placing the leaves at the end of the branches! Also a good tip when making branches is not to make them too thick! consider using slabs, or fences as brances.
