I had often asked myself this question.
In which AP year we are actually.
who made the discoveries the AP knows the abbreviation for
"After Portal" is the episode after which the Enderportal near Detlas is awakened.
The events with Bob happened about 750 AP
of course that raises the question in which year are we?

The real question is: what notation did people use before the discovery of the Portal?

probably didn’t have their own year-keeping system until they got used to the war enough to start doing things that weren’t “kill kill kill”

I mean, they counted the days and shit, and probably some years while they were at it, but.

 

Seems like to me that as you go through the quests throughout Wynn and Gavel that probably a few years pass from the start at Ragni to the end-ish at Ahmsord. Like the Chef in "Recipe For Disaster" probably took at least one or two years to establish himself as a master chef from when he started in Ragni. (Probably more than that, given that his whole accent changed and he became well-revered within Gavel.) I'd probably place the year we're in as around 1000-1010 AP (Depending on your progress in the game)
