    This provokes thinking. We get medical insurance to fix ourselves up when we are sick or injured. Likewise, McQueen's auto insurance could be the equivalent since he is a car.

    The thing is, car insurance covers any type of damage to the car, but life insurance only covers the death of the customer

    Both. Car insurance would cover car repair bills and life insurance would just apply if he's totaled.

    It's gotta be life insurance, there's more than just sentient cars in that universe so "car insurance" can't simply cover the global health requirement. It has to be under "life insurance" o.o.

    Why did I think so hard into this... I'm too bored today ^_^'

    They get life insurance, and then human insurance for the humans they drive to get around.

    Or perhaps the humans drive the cars and have to be replaced when they die, and that’s what human insurance is for?

    Is Cars a dystopia where sentient AI has enslaved humans to be no more than a commofity?
