Pretty high dps for a raw melee build, alongside plenty of lifesteal, good tankiness, penetration through raw melee, and the ability to abuse up to three different elemental weaknesses, depending on how you want to powder it. Even against an enemy with total immunity to thunder, you'll only lose about 25% of your damage - and that's not even taking into account the possible benefits from weaknesses to other elements, which are easy to abuse with Quinque's Super Fast attack speed.
