Welcome adventurer!
In the most recent patch (1.18.1), gamemodes were added to Wynncraft. These gamemodes are built-in challenges for players who don't get enough challenge out of the regular game. A class with a gamemode enabled will have a badge in their chat name, displaying which challenges they chose to tackle. When you create a new class, you can use one of the following gamemodes:

- Hardcore Mode: Upon death, you will lose far more items than you normally would. This is because the game treats your class as though it were constantly on 1 soul point. When you die, your badge will become gray. /kill and duels will not affect the badge color, but /kill will still cause you to lose items.

- Ironman Mode: You are unable to access your bank or the trade market, and are unable to perform trades. This means that you are limited to only the use of your inventory.

- Craftsman Mode: You are unable to use non-crafted items (excluding quest items and items required for the completion of a quest, for example the helmet used to enter the gravestone in The House of Twain). This includes armor, weapons, jewelry, and potions.

How to be entered into the leaderboards:
To get your name on one of the leaderboards, send me a screenshot like the one posted below, or post it in the comments of this thread.

As you can see above, I am doing all 3 of the gamemodes on my dark wizard class. This means that I will be entered into the HIC leaderboard. Someone only doing one or two of the challenges will be entered into the General leaderboard.

Some things to note:
- Both combat level and total level will be shown on the leaderboard.
- Completion of a challenge requires the player to
a) Reach combat level 103
b) Complete all dungeons, including corrupted dungeons
c) Complete all quests, including mini-quests
d) Complete Legendary Island
- Dying on a Hardcore class will disqualify you from that category, but you may continue as an Ironman and/or Craftsman. You can also choose to abandon your class, in which case it will be placed into the Legacy Leaderboard.
- If an official leaderboard is created, or if a more quantitative leaderboard is added to something like Wynndata, then this thread will be locked.
- I will try to update this leaderboard at least once a day, but I won't always be able to.
- This thread was originally posted by @WithTheFish at this address, but is now moved to here. You can view any records made before June 17, 2019 on that thread.
- This thread will start clean. If you have a record on the old leaderboard that you would like to be featured here, you will have to send it to me or post it in the comments.
- Only the top 25 records will be displayed in each category. Records of dead hardcore players can be found in the Legacy Leaderboard section.

Would combat level also be shown on the leaderboards; and for completing all quests, does the ??? quest count?

 

Combat level is included on the leaderboards and ??? is a quest, so therefore it is required for completing all the quests

@Crokee because most of the scores up there are not up-to-date anymore

 

Well it sure is better than having an empty leaderboard... still seems empty after nearly a week of this thread. Besides, you can always update by going to each of the players' stats pages.

 

my 5th HIC character just died to what I call: the death lag. RIP

 

yeah you really need half-decent wifi sometimes

or repaired gear, that helps

 

Would the HIC completion conditions stay as-is, or would they change when new updates/dungeons come out?
