See Buy Requests On The Trade Market?

The trade market is kinda confusing, is there a way to see buy requests for an item? Like, if a guy puts a request to buy a helmet for say 500e, can I see that buy request somewhere, then put that helmet on the exchange for 500e and have it instantly sold to that guy?

 

When you put items for sale, you can hover over the book icon on the right to see the highest buy order for that item on the market, the lowest sell order and the 2 week average price.

No there is no way to see who has buy requests, but I do have a neat trick for ingredients/materials - when selling large quantities of items, to see if someone is buying them, I sell one item for 1 emerald, if someone buys it instantly, then I slowly increase the price until they are no longer buying my items. Then I put it at the highest possible price.
This is not a very good method, but it can help me determine whether I should sell my ingredients to the blacksmith or sell them on the market.

 

You could use the price checker on the market to see the highest amount people are buying it for and sell it for that from the start
