The Fortuneteller Quest Not Working

So I have been trying to do the Fortuneteller quest and I got to the point where you climb the beanstalk to get into the clouds, but every time I try to do this, it does not work. I get to the point at the top where it is supposed to teleport me into the clouds, but all it does is put me a hundred blocks above the ground where I fall down to where the beanstalk grows from. Please help.

 

Make sure you talk to the fairy tale for this step https://wynncraft.gamepedia.com/The_Fortuneteller#Stage_4 at the coords in Kandon Beda. Helped a person who had this same issue who forgot to talk to the book npc.

I have been to the book npc, and my quest book says Find the Beanstalk.

 

somehow u need to follow to road to trigger the quest. You cant just take shortcut to there
