No. The whole gimmick of mythics is that they're so rare, powerful, and mysterious that they are only thought to be myths, and even then only the most powerful mages/archers/magic users/whatever classes have been able to even use them to their full potential. Besides, the whole thing about mythics is that at their level they can easily be found and grinded in comparison to say, level 15.

 

A lot of people seem to be taking that mythic loot check thing as a problem, when it really isn't - it's just a way to speed up loot checks.

you also forgot that selvut said requiem got renamed because (I think) major wanted an item called desperado, and they didn’t want to add a new item for the reason listed already. Rip requiem

Yes!

Not every update. The point was that there isn't going to be a "Gavel Revamp" like there was for wynn, at least not in the foreseeable future. Things get touched up here and there all the time, so it's likely that things in gavel will be improved as a bonus in updates, but not 100% certain.

For how loot chests work, yes. When you open a loot chest, Salted says it functionally acts like you killed a certain number of mobs. The loot from those "mobs" is what appears in the chest, and the amount of "mobs" killed is based on the tier of the chest and the amount of time it hasn't been opened for. I can't give exact numbers because Salted didn't elaborate and I don't know any more about the system than that. I don't recall him saying it needs to be changed in any way.
Salted also expressed interest in making loot chests client-side in the future, but this isn't confirmed to happen. It would be awesome if it does!

For common mobs this is the case. I used luxurious silk as an example because it's a T3 that drops from the nivla spiders which are what Salted was fighting at the time, and are a very common mob. For rare mobs, the drop rate of T3's is "more like 20-30%."

The other reason given for the name change was that Requiem doesn't exactly fit a Thunder/Fire design like the wand now has.

 

i thought people increase it for more chance to find rarer gear. So that appears to be wrong...

 

Well it does.
It increases the chance for you to find gear in general.

more gear= more rare gear.

 

I just remembered that the reason for soul points saying "you feel safe after the sun rises" is because the mobs were supposed to be stronger when the night comes.

 

Oh 1 CT also told us to the question:

They also told us that the banhammer is not an instrument
