    There are a bunch of symbols on the map that I just don't understand. Are there any reference guides, or do we have to decode and memorize them ourselves?

    The cave symbol refers to the location of any cave with a high-tier loot chest at the end of it.
    The orb symbol refers to the location of a dungeon.
