Bruh, that's.... downright deceitful. They weren't proud of a change they were going to make anyways and afraid what the community would say so they removed it? (even though we got the pic anyways) Why would they hide it from us? Someone from the item team please give me a better reason, if my hypothetical reason is wrng, for taking down a controversial item change screenshot like this.

 

Problem is that there are only a few “good” usable weapons which might change with this update. Also my point about more combinations is that fodder items might become useful after the update depending on what exactly they do. I think its entirely possible that the new update has more build options with different weapons, which isn’t necessarily the freedom you’re talking about with thousands of builds for one weapon. But again we still know too little to judge in my opinion

 

Why didn't you release a changelog with this thread? That'd be the best way to make sure people don't get pissed at you (like they are now) for these massive changes. Let us see the changelog if you're so confident.

 

Clarification on stuff

What happened to blue mask?
The changes on the screenshot turns out not to be accurate due to formatting error so I removed it, and judging from how it is perceived it seems like more work needed to be done on it.

Restrictions on tri-combo and take away item identity?
Please note that no real restriction would force a player to conform to a tri, the changes would simply introduce better synergy for items that fall under the same tri and their playstyle. Some items are going to be reworked yes, but every item will have a unique identity in their place in the endgame instead of being fodders or just not worth using.

Release date?
Potential solutions to ease in the updates are being discussed.

You'd have found it out anyways if the IM wanted to make this update a reality. And you'd have been even more pissed off if you woke up one random day seeing every item got revamped, without being warned beforehand, afterall most people in the xp wipe thread were like: "wE WeRen'T wARnEd tHIs wOUlD hApPen ReeEeEEe"

 

How the hell are the new ids gonna work on these items? What about the people who have godly fatals won't this update completely screw them over? Can you atleast fucking tell us what mythics are gonna get reworked so people don't get ripped off when the update rolls around.

Yes exactly, no matter what there will always be judgement. I should have made it more clear, the point ov my message was that judgement will be received when information is released. Whether that is in a forums post today or a sudden item revamp in the game tomorrow, it is foolish to stand idly by as paradigm-shifting revelations are made.
