Nice work item team for ruining the identity for pretty much all endgame items to fit into your "archetypes" and synergy. Great change to steamjet, really shows the original identity of the item by shoving garbage stats and compensating what all is lost with 1 fucking mana regen. I may sound very harsh and angry, but I really feel like this update will alienate old/players like me that really think that everything shouldn't be revamped for the promise of synchronization .

 

I just saw a pic of the new blue mask.

 

Honestly i got very tired of the boring item combinations (intel slappp), if what they promise is true then the variety of builds will increase drastically. Many items atm are just considered fodder and i hope they change that with this update. Ofcourse builds will be ruined, which is a downside. But i believe if every item gets a (good) rework this might turn out to be one of the best item updates.

 

I can already tell this is going to be a disaster.

while these updates do seem cool, it wouldve been nice to get a full changelog right off the bat to stave off fears of builds breaking


also, i feel this may be too restrictive, since if youre raising skill point requirements it will be harder to make builds that dont follow a set patterns you guys have created, which imo just shifts the current issue of only a few build-types being good to making your item selection smaller since you have to adhere to a set endgame archtype.

Also just to touch up on this. Not once have I ever got bored of using the same elemental combinations because I don't lmao. I've made about a thousand different builds for one weapon alone being Black (the best weapon in the game) that are very different. If you're bored of using the same elemental types over and over, make new builds for new weapons. This is literally going to take away freedom you believe we're lacking already in terms of build making.
