The Federation (?)

So a couple months ago, I first learned about the Federation and what it stood for, and its eventual downfall back in November (that was literally in my birthday week, I was partying and oblivious to everything going on xD). I'm wondering... where were Wrath of Poseidon (Oce), Acte Shadow (ASh), Blacklisted (BLA), and BuildCraftia (BCr) in all of this? What about the three leaders who fought on almost a daily basis? Where did the current SOL and Luna guilds come from?
And guilds leaving Fed? Huh????

(I'm gonna tag @Drew1011 in this 'cause I know he especially was there and is practically a historian on this topic, sooooo... get here when you can please, man; I have a lot of questions about this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
