Simple question, how do you feel about the content team? Do you love them, do you hate them, do you not give a shit? I'm very curious. And if you have any strong opinions, PLEASE tell me why. I applied for CT about 2 weeks ago, haven't got a response yet but ik some of them and they seem pretty chill

I think they're pretty great tbh! The lack of transparency and news from them has always been an issue, but at this point I've grown used to it

 

I haven't been playing long enough to really judge personally, but the only bad things I've heard about them from others so far is that some are disrespectful and are too absorbed in their own idea instead of what everyone else want.

The people balancing and making items seem to be the nicest based on what Ive determined from other people. Also seem like a hard job than one would expect since balancing an item and having to make judgement on something while keeping hundreds of other items in mind seem like a really tough challenge.

 

Ehh they're pretty chill suure some not good but as a whole they not bad like everyone seems to say. And even so serious respect anyone that spends there own time working on any part of this game

 

i hate them for two reasons -
1) not even thinking about adding housing
2) not enough meme quests

 

It is better than Hypixel's management I guess

 

I feel like the amount of radio silence and proper communication with the CT and the community is creating a giant rift between the two. With Pretzule gone the small bridge between us and the CT is mostly crumbled.

The admins are a bit worse; I feel like most of them are a bit estranged with the community, and their lack of communication with both us and the CT is detrimental to both sides. Grian at least from what I've heard has started to communicate more but hasn't really been managing with the build team. In the end we only have Salted & Crunkle being 100% involved in the CT.

I did suggest that to bridge that we'd add something like, a Wynn Player Council, but it hasn't really been taken into consideration, or at least I don't think.

Even small teasers, like an image of a Dernic mob would satisfy most of the community. Don't feel bad about the bitter fucks who think no matter what you tease it isn't enough.

But like Marcos said, its better than Hypixel's dumb excuse of management.

 

At least hypixel didn't wipe the leaderboards on something without telling anyone about it and making people lose a lot of time and money for it. They also talk to their players about issues instead of staying silent about it and keep people guessing for months

They just popped away everyone's time and effort and money on that game because they didn't take good care of it and essentially ruined the game through their final update on it.

Hypixel will be silent on several games for years sometimes. Turbo Kart Racers took almost 3 years to recieve even a balancing patch.

Hypixel is also a way different server than Wynn, in which their updates aren't lore-ified and they're able to actually able to keep features in place without it affecting literally everything else.

Also, yes, Hypixel's administration team is garbage. Jpresent quit and came here because it was that terrible.

And Hypixel literally protects cheaters more than they do non rule breaking players. Wynn doesn't have corrupt staff like that.

 

Okay, no, don't be serious. Wynn's staff team is nowhere near as horrible as Hypixel's. Wynn's staff team is chill enough to joke around and not seem like 6 year olds at least.
And I disagree with Wynn's staff team a lot.

 

Ya sure, that's why they took an entire year to give an update to the only PTL minigame that had a stable playerbase
That's why they threw a completely working minigame that could have been developed way further and had mild success to the Arcade Lobby
That's why they didn't give Skyclash updates in years and acted like "Ah frick nobody plays this so we gotta delete it sorry bois"
That's why they add new games and modes and never update them (ALL BedWars dream modes)
That's why Classic Lobby, a place where about 4 out of 7 minigames are fully dead exists after Skyclash got deleted

They might talk to their players, but are these things truth? fuck no, a minigame is not gonna come back to life after 3 years of update drought if the best thing you add is a simple bug patch, an entire lobby with 7 minigames is not gonna come back to life just because you fixed a few bugs on each
You're just gonna kill off your best minigames if you don't update them
Because let's see, Have you ever seen the Pit's playerbase drop under 150? no, this minigame has managed to stayed relevant for literally a year and the best thing Hypixel does to it, is literally adding 3 new events, nothing else
They have pulled many updates recently for many minigames yes, except none of them are real updates, most of them were only balance patches or bug fixes

I've seen content drought in this server, but at least the trailers for these updates never lied (except for the Mob Update, that trailer is garbage, doesn't show anything but a cool cinematic that isn't even possible to shove in-game)
Sure, they over-glorified a bit the content shown but hey, at least they didn't call a bug fix a "Whole new update!", the whole profession thing might be glorified, but the trailer actually only shows how they work and what they can do, they aren't a lie, we just had too high expectations (which I mean was understandable, it took a whole year to pull an update that was just Runescape: The Overgrind, who thought this update was a good idea by the way? we all know nobody here is a fan of grinding...)

I won't deny JP's thing was pretty bad, I agree there that they could have simply said "Yo so this guy has a better life now and better things to do so... yeah it is gonna take a while till we can fix this mess we got over here because literally nobody understands what the hell did JP code for this, sorry" and everything would have been fine
But then again, I prefer silence and a delay rather than getting clickbaited to be honest

 

what's the point of wasting time updating a game that no one plays when you could be updating more popular games that people actually enjoy? I've played skyclash since it came out and it was pretty fun but I quit for a while and when I came back it was dead so I'm not sure what happened to it so I can't really say anything about that

I've also played bedwars since it came out in the prototype lobby and I still play it to this day (I'm a little over 320 stars) I've reported issues with the game and got replies within a day or two about it and it does get pretty constant updates, I don't see a problem with any of the dream modes (besides for castle because it sucks) and they're still adding more of them

skyblock just recently came out which is their newest gamemode and it's been getting constant updates and has more players than bedwars
the pit has never really been that popular but still gets over 100 players usually, what else can you add to a gamemode like that? it's kitpvp lol

and what about the 1.17 trailer when Jp fixed the guild issue (which took two years) when you couldn't leave a guild if you changed your name? was that not a bug fix? the only thing they added in that "update" was discoveries, bank pages, new items, and maybe a few new quests, lots of content there
in the 1.18 trailer when salted showed the "boss fight" which was the statue by kandon-beda. you dont fight the statue so is that not a lie? yeah he explained why he did it but that's still not a boss fight. he could've showed qira or dr. legendary instead which are real bosses

pretty bad? if you're talking about the leaderboard thing people literally wasted thousands of hours and dollars to get their names on the leaderboard and then Jp wipes it all without letting the players know they were gonna lose all that time spent doing csst and grinding and his excuse was "I want them to explore and not feel like they completed the game just by getting an extra 3 levels that do absolutely nothing and are completely cosmetic!" and "I want them to do the new quests and try out the dungeons!" like 90% of people weren't excited enough to finally get quests in molten heights which they've been asking for forever and totally weren't going to do them? please explain to me how taking peoples time and money then getting rid of their xp that they literally paid for is okay because that is what I was talking about
