The Eye Lore (and Other Probably Wrong Stuff)

Now, as long as you have taken a good look at the Wynn logo, you will notice "the eye". There has been major speculation as to what this is used for and I believe I may have found an answer. Darkness. Now, you're probably saying,"Bowajility, this is a very dumb idea, with the eye just being darkness." But wait! There's more!
Now if I told you to find any game with a storyline that has some sort of enemy, you might say something like "Angry Birds" (using this as a reference because lots of people have played or are playing it now). After this, I would ask you what the enemies are and you would obviously say, the pigs. Now, I would ask you what the pigs' motive is to attack the birds, and the answer is obvious: the eggs. This is their motive, just like all of the evil creatures of Wynn. Not necessarily the same motive to be bad, but one combined motive that actually made them try.
Now, I believe the reason behind all of the corruption, all of the darkness, and every evil thing is darkness. Not like, "uh oh, this alley is dark" but like yin and yang, there must be light and dark. Now, I think the eye is sort of the symbol for darkness, as it is always watching, ready to pollute at a moment's notice. This would explain why the eye is such a big part of lore and why Bob died. It says in the sealed letters to nilrem (probably merlin) ( source )
"Two immense forces are at war, with our plain of existence being the battleground. There is a dark creature of the night in a land "far" away, it poses a threat to all.

Two immense forces: light and dark, and the creature in a land "far" away I believe is darkness itself. He knows he cannot kill it, as it is not quite a sentinent being, but still wants to seal it off for good. Wether he succeeds remains to be seen.

All in all, I thought this may be a part of Wynn lore and would be a nice addition to the game.

Aside from that, we've known the eye is probably from Dern (source of darkness) for a long time, so this theory isn't really new or anything.
Great example on Angry Birds though, haven't heard that one before.

yeah, I saw that info somewhere before, but didn't have the source so I decided to leave it out but I hadn't seen this bit of lore before, thanks for letting me know! Now It could just be used to help others understand the concept, so maybe I should change the thread name. Any ideas?

The eye? Sounds a lot like a rip off of the LOTR film trilogy. (Not the books as Sauron was never an eye in the books).
