Guide Obscure Tip For Every Class

A general tip for every class:

You can negate fall damage if you cast your mobility spell (Escape, Vanish, Charge, Teleport) just before you touch the ground.

Archer:

During an escape, you can swap to another hot bar slot to travel just a bit further with the cost of fall damage,
but fall damage can be negated if you are going to higher ground.

Mage:

You can literally fly almost indefinitely if you have enough mana (15+/4) and high intelligent sp (105+) if you alternate the spell cast for mana reset (Ex: teleport, ice snake, teleport, ice snake......) but you can't do it too fast or you will run out of mana. If you do it right you can almost maintain a pretty high altitude for a long period of time.


Warrior:

Animation cancels with Bash and Charge for extra damage.

Assassin:

Many might not know this but assassin's smoke bomb's smoke tick is only effective in the area where you throw it, in another word, the enemies would have to stand within that area to receive smoke damage tick.

Ohhh yesss. If you have slow attack speed on warrior, you can basic attack, bash. To reset the cooldown of your basic attack, allowing you to attack twice quickly.

Assassins can jump just before casting vanish to get extra distance out of their hops

Actually, holding/spamming rightclick will get you out of anything but Multihit or (most of the time) Flamethrower.
Assassin isn't about mobility of itself, however. (don't look at Slider). It's made to move enemies around and trap them, using a combination of all three of Assassins other spells to move, slow and blind an enemy. So yes, Assassin doesn't have a lot of mobility, but when played right, definitely makes up for it.

Is there a way for an archer to prevent fall damage if they are thrown dozens of blocks up by a mob or if they fall off of a platform but the escape spell is not used?

 

Escape can be activated a couple of blocks above the ground in just about any situation. This will prevent fall damage, and also makes Escape spamming over water a good strategy. However it's very difficult to do this consistently.

 

Don't forget lava too, saved me a few times.

I joke with archers because they joke with mages often, or ask for heals without saying thank you.
