Pre-gavel Weapons Don't Work?

I stopped playing before the Gavel update and now i decided to start playing again. I read the returning players guide and all that. Thing is, when i started playing, i had my armor identified and all good, but my wand didn't appear as unidentified. Instead, it appeared just like it used to be pre-Gavel (without the new stats and all) and now it is useless. Is this intended or is this a glitch or something? Thanks.

 

Did it have an accented letter in it? Those all broke for some reason (don't remember why)

 

As well as what Druser said, I believe Bob’s Mythic items from before Gavel are unsuable.

 

Yes, it did, it was the Dévoreuse. So now I guess I have to find again a high level staff while having a lvl 1 one.

 

You can buy one off of the Market Place if you have some emeralds.

 

Thanks for the info, maybe will be of usage, but i'm going to do the new lower level quests anyways, so I guess I'll be getting staffs from drops.

 

not true. my bob's bow is from before gavel and it works fine. I don't know if I'm the exception or not though.

 

I believe it was if you got it before Gavel and didn’t use it until after the Gameplay Update

 

well I got it before gavel and started using it like 2 weeks ago
