Archer/Hunter Divzer Build

Hey guys. I was pretty interested in making a build that works around mana steal, so I thought the mythical bow Divzer would be the perfect candidate. I do not own one sadly meaning I cannot test its efficiency in combat. I would very much appreciate your constructive feedback, and possibly help me make this build better. Thank you. (:

Build changes:
Byte --> Diamond Static Ring (Optional)
Diamond Static Bracelet --> Atlas
Trench Scourer --> Seipodon (Optional)

 

most importantly, the attack speed
with super fast attack speed, you'll be spending a lot of time right clicking in order to melee to activate mana steal. it's a... low (less than 10)% chance to activate it on super fast attack speed

thus, you'll be spending a lot of time using your melee rather than taking out big groups of mobs or using the higher dps arrow storm

if you use a t l a s, then your attack speed can go down to super slow (with a -7 tier roll), meaning although you only attack once every 2 seconds, you do go up to 49% chance to activate mana steal. this means, rather than attacking 10+ times in 1 "cycle" (4 seconds), you only have to attack twice

additionally, by lowering your attack speed, you're increasing the chance to activate mana steal on chain lightning

with super fast attack speed, each hit on chain lightning (9 hits total) counts as a regular melee attack in terms of mana/life steal, so with super fast attack speed, you'll average less than 1 activation per chain lightning.

with super slow attack speed, 9 hits * 49% chance to activate = average of 4-5 activations on 1 chain lightning

tl;dr
lower your attack speed (atlas), and chain lightning will be more effective, and you'll be able to cast more spells

also, with atlas your hp goes up (can take out byte and put in dia static ring or something)

would change the pants to something with mana regen instead. while i get it's a mana steal build, having as high as 19ms will just waste most of it anyway so having some regen to back it up whenever youre unable to get mana by stealing seems like a good idea to me
seipodon for one will bump your health nicely while giving 3 mana regen

 

Good point. Seems to fit well with the Atlas bracelet.

 

Oooohhh Divzer. I made this a while ago. Probably not the best, but it has OK Mana Regen and good damage I guess.

But keep in mind this build is near impossible. You need two completely maxed out Summa's and everything maxed out.
