10 Years Of Minecraft!

So, I'm sure all of you have played Minecraft, if not I'm actually stunned that you were able to find your way to this place. But I guess hi if you just stumbled upon this site somehow... Anyways, May 17th 2009 was when the game was released unto the world, and is the entire reason why we are all here... well.. unless you are part of the group of people that stumbled here by accident. Regardless of your background, this game has touched you in someway, whether good, bad, or inbetween, we all have been affected by this massive game.

Now, if you all want to take part in this "Event" in a way, there is a map on the Minecraft Website that you can download, along with reading up on information about the entire thing (Here) There is also a video that you can watch with a little bit of an explaination of the map (Here)

So I mean, I guess I don't really have anything else to say other than, celebrate Minecraft's 10 Year Anniversary... or don't, I can't control you, nor can the game, and nor can anyone else. But I'd advise at least checking out the map as it's actually really well put together. As well as look into the event, because there seems to be new information coming Today/Tomorrow

Also, Question of the thread to have some Discussion: What is your favorite memory on Minecraft, if you have one, and why is it your favorite, or why do you hold it dear to you?
