Art The Return Of 'wynncraft-chan'

About a year and a half ago, following the large trend of 'x-chan' art wherein anything and everything was turned into an anime girl (sorta like what Bowsette was too) - the most popular ones being Earth-chan (and the rest of the solar system) and Tide Pod-chan - I decided to try my artistic hand at a 'Wynncraft-chan'. Granted, I was no manga artist at the time (nor am I now), and I was still fairly new to the world of art. I tried anyway, and the result...wasn't very good, to say the least.

Now, a year and a half of experience later, I have returned and redrawn Wynncraft-chan. It's still not in manga style, and it's still kind of terrible with a lot of flaws. However, compared to the first one, it's a slight step up. It took me 5.5 hours to draw and about 11 hours to colour, done over two days.

I honestly can't believe I once thought this was anywhere near good. I'll probably be saying the same about the updated piece in a year though.

Hands are still incredibly difficult to draw. This was also my first time drawing feet too, which I learned - like hands - are incredibly difficult to draw. Proportions also suck.

In the 11 hours I sunk into this, I began to realise how many things I had done wrong in drawing it. However, it also let me see what I'd done right, which gave me enough false confidence to post it here when it was done.

See you all in January 2021 when I come back and redraw this again!
