About The "slay Idols" Mini-quest

When I was doing the "Slay Idols" mini-quest I couldn't get any Ancient Metals. I randomly decided to right-click the slaying post, but then I complete the quest (?). Could anyone tell me what happened?

 

I think I will be just as confused as you are my friend. The only explanation could be that you already had 18 ancient metal somewhere in your inventory, but you just didn't notice it. Oh well, free xp!

 

I just recently completed that quest and was confused as the beginning. Which idols were you killing? As for the 2nd part I have no idea.

 

I checked my inventory a few times already. I even clicked on each box.

I killed ancient and corrupted idols, the only "idols" that drop ancient metal.

 

hmm yeah thats odd then. All I can think is maybe they were not loading our you just didn't notice them.
