Does Negative Mana Regen Affect You When You Are Vanished (or Shadow Cloned)

When assassin(ninja) uses vanish(shadow clone) does negative mana regen still work, as positive mana regen is stopped, and mana starts degenerating, i was wondering if negative mana regen would make it degenerate faster.

That is very interesting idea actually. If mana regen as a whole stops working when you are vanished, then you will probably be right to say that negative mana regen does not work either during vanish. You will need to test this with a build with high negative mana regen.

 

When I tested it, the mana regen remained the same with or without negative regen. I tested this by putting on strategist (-3/4s mr) and vanishing and then vanishing without strategist on seeing how low the mana was before it automatically popped you out of vanish (15 seconds). In both scenarios, the result was a remaining 4 mana before the 15 seconds ran out.

So, at least for me, no.

 

Yes. If negative mana regen doesn't work while vanished, you could abuse that by knowing when the mana regen tick comes, and vanish right before, and cancel the vanish right after. Therefore, there being no -regen if timed right.
