Lore/Story Intro To Aida's Ghostly Lore

*Player is walking near Temple of Bantisu* *sees NPC looking depressed*

*NPC = Aliko*

Aliko - *going crazy* Help! They’ve done it again. My whole family! Gone! Help!

(a second passes)

Aliko - Hey, you! You look strong. Like them. The Lords. Come over here, maybe you can help me.

*player approaches*

If the player is too low level: Aliko - Nope, too scrawny. Sorry, kid. Come back later once you’ve buffed up a bit.

Otherwise:

Aliko - On a closer look, maybe you’re too scrawny. But hey, what have I got to lose now? They took everything from me.

Aliko - Listen. Have you heard of the Gardens of Alisa? No? Great. So much for that. Well, our village needs your help. Lord Samu - he’s taken my family.

Aliko - You should go talk to Tomoshi at coordinates ( *, *, *). He’ll tell you what you need to know. Just follow that path over there. Unless you’re too cowardly. This war… it’s awful.

*Player follows path.* *Player meets a few low level Ninja Birds along the way. They attack, but they’re only around level 20. This is a Randomized Mob Spawn.* *Player enters Japanese - style, small house illuminated with hidden glowstone, though lanterns are a MUST once 1.14 reaches Wynn*

Tomoshi - Hello there, brother. Have you come to light a candle for our lost companions?

Tomoshi - Oh, I see. You must have been sent by Aliko. So he did manage to convince somebody after all. Impressive.

Tomoshi - Did he explain? No? Very well. I’ll try to keep this short, as you must be on your way swiftly.

Tomoshi - Once, these lands were peaceful. But we have been plagued with a curse from afar, like a darkness surrounding the lord’s minds. Some turned to evil, and were destroyed by the others. But before the last Corrupted Lord died, he uttered last words.

Tomoshi - Those changed history. He said, “Do not yield to the greed of Radishia’s chain, or you shall perish like me.”

Tomoshi - The lords did not listen. They discovered that he was talking about the Necklace of the last Empress, Radishia. It was fabled to have incredible power, and much more. Now, the lords fight. They all want the power.

Tomoshi - It’s up to you now. You goal is to travel to the lords, and try to find out where to go. You must find the necklace before them. And then, maybe Aliko will stop being so crazy and mean.

Tomoshi - Just follow the lampposts. And good luck!

*Player comes across samurai on his journey. They are level 30 and there are five. One stays back and shoots arrows or spears while two other fight on foot using swords. The last two are on horses and use longer swords. The swords can drop, and are unique items.*

*Player reaches Lord Samu’s Castle.* *It doesn’t have to be huge, just a basic Japanese pagoda with walls. *

Guard 1- Lord Samu’s Castle is not open to travelers.

Guard 2 - What? Oh, you must be the peace negotiator. Very well, you may enter. But make it fast.

*Player enters, walks up main entrance steps to find Lord Samu in the throne room.*

Lord Samu - Hey! What’s up?

Lord Samu - Don’t be confused. You seemed friendly so I figured I wouldn’t kill you. Today, I am Mr. Nice Guy.

Lord Samu - You must be looking for Lady Casi. She’ll tell you where Lord Mleka is, he’s the only one to know the location of the Gate to the Gardens. Sadly, he won’t tell me. At least he can’t beat the Guardian of Alisa, no matter how hard his armies try.

Lord Samu - Here’s a certified Samu Sword. It’s a copy of mine, and it might help you. You’ll need it.

Lord Samu - Anyways, good luck! I hope you make it.

Lord Samu - And...if you happen to find a necklace there, would you mind bringing it back to me? I have a passion for jewelry, you know.

Lord Samu - No? Well then. So much for Mr. Nice Guy. GUARDS, KILL THEM!

*Player must fight guards on the way out. They are level 30, identical to the samurai met on the way to the castle.*
