Assassin/Ninja Just Don’t Get Hit Lol-cata Build

    This is a cata build that has 22k spins, 12k melee, 44k avg multihits, and 54k smoke bombs.

    Main issue with this build, outside of the "don't get hit" part, is it's low mana sustain. Glass builds such as this are worse than other builds (even other glass builds) because you can only do damage in brief bursts and not continuous dps, making them have less dps overall in the long run (as well as lowering your ability to stunlock). This is assuming you're not using skill pots/mana pots though, in which case those points I just made go out the window and into the dumpster.

    Lower damage than possible (with that glass you can get like 27k) and like others said no sustain. Literally unusable

    It’s not supposed to have sustain, you’re supposed to be able to take 1 hit, not 2 hits, 1 hit.

    I'm pretty sure what they mean by no sustain is that you can't keep up that 22k spin dps cause you can't spam anything with -1mr and 6 mana cost for each spin attack.

    I expected people to use a mana potion or make use of the 4/4s mana steal by vanishing then getting a few 12k hits and vanishing again.

    Mana Potion sure, but Mana Steal is really hard to proc on a Super Fast Attack Speed Dagger like Cataclysm. A hit or two isn't likely to get the mana steal to work. Besides, wouldn't vanishing itself cost mana and make it so you're unable to regen mana, thus making it harder to spin spam?

    If there’s a 20% chance for mana steal to proc than you should be able to keep up a fairly steady stream of damage if you keep on the boss. Mana potions would be preferred tho.

    Mana steal at super fast attack speed has a 5.8% proc chance, making mana potions+the intel skill pot basically a necessity, not just preferred.

    After the community of build makers gives feedback on your build there isn’t a reason to defend it. You take advise and become a better builder. We aren’t trying to roast you, just make you realize the flaws. A good follow up to thr thread is to improve the build and get more feedback. Or if you really have a solid argument on why you think it is a strong build enlighten us.

    That was me being confused about the proc rates of mana steal, I thought it was 20% per level of attack speed so I said that. When I was informed that it wasn’t actually 20% I said that mana potions were the best route for keeping up the damage. As a side note did you even look at the name of the thread or the build? It’s a joke that’s not meant to be taken seriously and I just posted it for giggles and I made it when I was trying to get ridiculously high thunder damage and I didn’t care about much else.
