    what i mean by that is this: Salted said that he can't tell us the reason, but what he should have done is just given us the reason regardless. Saying "I cant tell you the reason" does not validate the fact that he's not given us a reason.

    I think that if we've invested so much time and money into this game, our complaints are justified - it's not like we're asking for anything unreasonable here.

    I don't think it's entitlement. As I said, all of us have invested ridiculous amounts of time into this game, and some of us have even put money into this game. The amount of substantial communication is lacking, and it's okay to be upset about it.

    Expecting the management team for a popular game to be reasonable is not entitlement. Not in the slightest. Being shitty at managing your community deserves criticism, always.

    On the bright side: at least they said anything at all. It's an incredibly void statement though, with a lot of virtue signalling:
    "...due to unforseen circumstances we've had issues getting the marketplace and wars back up." The reason for the shutdown of the marketplace is known: a dupe bug, but it's not mentioned in the thread.
    "Rest assured it is our top priority the second we're able to do it." This can be translated to "Our bug fixers will fix this bug, as that is their job, and they will do so when they can, because doing the opposite is, due to our linear movement through time, physically impossible."
    "Sorry I can't say more than this at this point" Yes, thank you, but why? Is it for some reason secret to the owner of the server? Does no one know what the problem is?
    "...but we'll definitely let you know once things are back." No need. We'll notice it.
    "We know some of you only live for wars/guilds and we do not plan to just remove that feature forever." More assuring that the bug fixers will fix the bugs, because, after all, that is their job.
    "It's as frustrating for us than it is for you all" That's trying to make the reader relate to the writer, or in this case the players to the developers. No, we don't relate to you, because you can change what we can't. This is plain and simple virtue signalling, as they're pointing out that bad things are bad and that they are very much affected by it and that they can't do much either.
    "and it will be the very first thing we fix once we can." Repeat of "it is our top priority the second we're able to do it." Cool, you said nothing.
    "Thank you for your understanding." Understanding of what? We have no clue as to what's going on.

    Can't we just get actual updates on this? Can't you ask others to fix the issue? Why is nothing ever said? Are there outside, real-life issues that are holding you people back? Is the entire dev team silenced for some reason? Are there communication issues between the developers as well? Did the communications manager die in their sleep and you forgot to replace them?

    is *not allowed* to share why two of the most community-holding parts of the game have been unfixed for over 2 months due to bugs that take an hour to fix

    i disagree. There is NO reason why we should be uninformed, even if it was some catastrophic news, we have a right to know. if all my items in the market are gone, i think id have a right to know that, wouldn't you?

    I don't want to say more because it might put the blame on specific people. I don't want to direct the community anger at anyone, that'd be an incredibly shitty thing to do.

    EDIT: Items in market aren't lost or anything dramatic like that
