Media Loot From 10,000 Magma Entities

Ever wondered what you can get from killing 10,000 Magma Entities? Me neither. I decided to do it though.



Just did this for fun, I had a lot of time to waste.

If you don't want to watch the whole video, here's what I got in the end:

Took 11 hours of grinding to kill all the mobs (I wasn't grinding as fast as possible though)

Results:

27 Legendaries
2.5k+ Acid Magma Ingredients
20000 Emeralds
12 Tempered Core Ingredients

Once market comes back, I might be able to sell the ingredients for more than I said in the video, not entirely sure. If this really is the easiest way to get Tempered Cores, then they might be worth a decent amount, since they are so rare.

Time to start farming Magma Entities instead of mining voidstone lol

I don’t have the patience to kill enough mobs for even ONE tier 3 ingredient and you do this

In the future, if you try grinding without Loot Bonus that would give more accurate data to the actual drop rates. From what I've been able to learn, Loot bonus increases the chances of another drop, which means some enemies will give more loot drops. How drops are affected by more than 100% LB idk either. Basically, Loot Bonus is another factor that will throw off the actual drop rates. As much as getting less loot is unappealing, the actual drop rates are affected by the number of drop you get. 0 LB = better data. Nice video tho.

 

I originally had a clip where I explained how I had almost exactly +100% loot bonus, so you could just halve the numbers I got to see what the default numbers are (assuming that's how LB works). I ended up not using it though, because I am so unsure about how loot bonus works (not sure if it effects emeralds, ingredients, etc).

 

It's not clear, that's the point.

If either the additional loot is derived by chance or it isn't quite 100%, loot bonus is still unknowable unless you found a way to count all the times you got double drops of nothing.

how much did you suffer while making this?

 

also you make probably a lot more if you id the legendarys youve got (like unravel, Mementos,third eye etc.)
