But, it's not impossible anyway and a major part of the minecraft community already installed optifine + a message that recommands to use optifine can be used + why is that a bad idea to add it in the texturepack? It's just a bonus, if you have optifine that's good, if you don't have optifine it doesn't really change the game experience.

 

The resource pack would take a bit longer to load (I'm unsure of how long) and the admins and staff really do not want to endorse the use of any mods at all. If they were to recommend a mod they'd be making themselves responsible for that mod functioning with Wynncraft, which few mods do fully, especially as the server and mods change over time. Optifine actually semi-breaks some stuff ingame, such as text disappearing from some signs and buttons disappearing entirely.

Imo stuff that requires modification of the game should be left to the community and individuals to use/design on their own accord.


Also, hopefully, I'll get motivated enough to get to work on the pack again when 1.18 releases, as most of the textures will become outdated / not applied to the appropriate items. We'll see...

 

I believe that only applies to Fast Render or another visual setting, but good point

 

As a packmaker, i know that it will take a longer time to load, but i just wanted to say that it's not impossible to add it, just a ctrl+c, ctrl+v ;)

 

The issue here is that wynncraft is intended to be completely vanilla and the staff and ct don't endorse any modifications to the game, even optifine.
