Does Increasing Your Attack Speed Also Increase Your Spell Damage Multiplier?

If you have a weapon with fast attack speed, and boost it up to super fast via armor, does the spell damage multiplier on it increase, or does it just stay at the fast attack speed multiplier?

the attack tier is used in the calculation of the spell damage. the faster you attack speed the higher the spell damage

 

Pokextreme has already covered it, but it's worth noting that in the early days of Gavel the spell multiplier actually did change when using +tier armor. This was removed because it was absurdly overpowered (e.g. 120k Uppercuts).

 

yeah, I assumed it would be incredibly broken if it did. Just wanted to be sure.
