Clearly it is not. You're contradicting yourself.

 

Tell me this, captain obvious, the whole post is about the servers lag, I added a note saying my internet is fine and you reply with this "This is literally the definition of connection lag." and somehow I'm contradicting myself? How does that make sense? Clearly you and the others who are suggesting texture pack problems didn't read the post. Typical really.

 

Your description is not of server lag, it's of lag from your internet, also known as connection lag:

 

Are you having trouble each time you login to a new world (as in getting to the class selection screen is slow) or after you logged in (as in lots of entities spawning or traveling caused lag)?
It does sound like you're having connection lag from what I've read, though it likely isn't on your end. The wynncraft servers are never good for player to connect to. I am on high speed internet (although ISPs are trash) but I still get about 80-120 ping most the time with spikes every once in a while like the ones you're describing.

 

Do you have autojoin on? If you turn it off you'll encounter dying when you login less because the pack loads while you're in the class selection screen.

 

Most players can run the server with no lag at all. You seem to be the only one experiencing these things. Also, the description you gave (as others have said before) is of your personal connection lag, not server-side issues.

I had this problem years ago, Reason I never got that many hours in wynn was because of My Trashy Router, Such a big MC World that was Multiplayer rekt my Internet connection for the entirety of 2015.

 

Huh, I have a ping of 2000 on college internet in the US.

I remember having lots of ping as well a few years ago because of our shitty router. We fixed it by making a small hole in my room’s wall and physically connecting the router to my pc. But idk if you’ve got the same problem, probably not.

I've been having the same problem too recently. All of the particles still move and I can walk around freely with the same FPS, but every mob is frozen in place and when time catches up, it tries to show me everything that happened whilst it froze. It's happened a lot too
