    Hello,
Im french and I have one proposition:

I was wondering if it was possible to add above the mob, an icon that indicates that there is a quest and a different icon for the quests make, I find that the particles are not enough.

    Quest NPCs already have...
    -An exclusive green nametag
-A tag that says "NPC" on it
    -Green particles all around them
-Your quest book usually telling you the exact location, if you can't find it on your own

An extra symbol isn't necessarily a bad idea, but if someone's going to miss everything else that's given to them, I doubt it'd make a difference.

I can try to translate if you wish

Yes but what I hear is this, it’s to make it able to see better because certainly we notice some quests but it is difficult to not confuse the NPC’s that give the quest. It would be better to try to integrate an in game map to see where we are.

Either I’m a really bad translator, or this doesn’t make that much sense. I think the first one

And zortoxe, it sounds like your describing Wynntils. There is a map where you can see where the start of quests are.

Zortoxe, Ça ressemble, Tu describes Wynntils. C’est une mod pour Wynncraft. Il y a une Carte où tu peux voir où le debut des quêtes, commence. Ici, https://forums.wynncraft.com/thread...wynncraft-experience-even-better-1-12.235908/

What he essentialy means is there should be an additional icon above the head of questgivers NPCs to help and differenciate them from the other "regular" NPCs, those who are simple actors of said quest.
In Eltom, for example, there's quite a few NPCs that are here for you to interrogate while you do your business as detective, and there isn't really a way to tell whether they are questgivers or not other than walking to them and right-click them to make them say their lines, the first time you enter the town.

(Him asking for an ingame map was an additional suggestion, but is apart from the first point.)

The nametag of the NPCs is a different colour depending on what kind of NPC it is:
Quest NPCs have green names, flavour NPCs have white names, and shop NPCs have purple names.

    Well...yea I know.
I wasn't talking about NPCs that have lines of dialogue but aren't involved in any quest, these "flavour NPCs". I was talking about, regarding NPCs that are actually involved in quests, so those having green names, the lack of difference between the quest-givers NPCs (the ones you need to go talk to in order to initiate a quest and in most cases the same ones you go see to finish it and collect your rewards) and the ones who simply are involved in a quest, say their lines, and that's it.
I thought the example of Eltom witnesses was clear enough but sorry if that wasn't the case.

    Here's a quick example :

    [IMG] [IMG]

Two quest NPCs, two "green names". Let's imagine you're a new player who hasn't done both quests at least 5 times already. Can you tell by only looking at them which one has a quest to give you (a questgiver, as I said in my first post) and which one don't?
    I doubt you can.

And that's what the OP suggested. A quick way to differenciate both types of quest NPCs at first glance.

(Now I was simply trying to explain his idea as the first translation missed the point a bit. That's it. If you want to discuss the suggestion in itself best quote him since it's his idea, afterall ^^)
