Deja Vu got added in 1.18, which released last January. The survey where these results were found was held in December. @WithTheFish put in Doguns v. Dragons as it has been mostly positively received and we're probably all curious as to where people would rank them along other quests, but if the survey were to be held again, I'm sure Deja Vu would be on pretty high c:

I really think 1k meters is going to win but I haven’t done the new deja vu quest yet so I can’t really decide. My money’s still on 1k meters under though

Round 1 Part 1 has ended, and the results are now public!
The second part of Round 1 has begun: https://forms.gle/bhT1pCnShFx4RRV2A

Here are a few of my thoughts/observations from the most recent survey:
    • Genuinely shocked that Mushroom Man and Lord of the Clock. I guess I overestimated the community's nostalgia.
    • 1000 Meters Under was the only quest to get over 90% of the votes.
    • Reincarnation VS. Forbidden Prison was a pretty close match, considering I never hear people talk about the latter quest. I'm interested to see how Reincarnation fares in the next round.

Yes! This is nearly exactly what I wanted round 1.1 to be like, I have already done the poll for next round, also in terms of percentage how many people voted for Mushroom Man?

I'm extending the closing date of the poll by 12 hours because as of right now, "Kingdom of Sand" and "Out of my Mind" are tied for votes. If you've played both of these quests I'd highly encourage you to vote if you haven't already!

The first round has ended! Now the real battle begins, as the 32 remaining quests battle it out in Round 2!
Here's the link for voting: https://forms.gle/KY8yXk9Sv95mg4hA6

Here are some of my thoughts:
    • Deja Vu and A Grave Mistake both got over 80% of the votes. I'm interested to see how their match plays out.
    • After the time extend Kingdom of Sand ended up losing. I was surprised by this, since the quest seemed well received among to the community. Maybe bugs held it back or something?
    • WynnExcavation Site D was very popular, it could very well make it to the final match as @Bart (MC) and @rainbow_elite_7 predict.
    • ToA did end up getting a lot of hate, for it lost to one vote. RIP.

When you think about it, those two quests are pretty similar.
    • some guy asks you to do something
    • you go do it but something bad happens that isn't in any other quest
    • you must now free yourself from that bad thing
    • there's a boss fight at the end
(actually, a lot of quests seem to use this format...)

forbidden prison is literally one of my favorite quests
not because of the content (though it was fun), but because it actually made you seem like a relative "bad guy" and you went to a random thing in gavel that i had often wondered about.

Hmm. I can definitely say that some quests were really on equal level and more of a guess than a argumented choice, but a few votes really surprised me:
-1.18 King's Recruit over Jungle Fever. I always found Jungle Fever a pretty neat quest, returning back to Detlas and Almuj from Troms. It also pays very well for it's level, isn't very hard but the Almuj maze can be challenging, and overall a very memorable quest for me. While 1.18 King's Recruit, is well, misleading at its best. I've expressed this before, but it makes new players think professions are 3 quarters of Wynn has to offer, and things like armor aren't even explained. It's also full of annoying waiting time for the story to continue itself, which isn't as much bad for new players but we all had to go through it far too much after 1.18 dropped. I'm not a huge fan of how spells were introduced either, instead of giving you a weapon immediately when you start you need to craft one yourself, and only then do you get to use a spell. On one mob. I've had friends join Wynn for the first time who both didn't realise what spells really were, how to use them and what for. The part you spend walking and killing random mobs in the old King's Recruit was surprisingly important.
-The Lost is apparently more popular than Tower of Ascension. The quest where you have to look around for some people in the Canyon of the lost, fill up half your inventory with paper, slowly lose it, kill a bear, return. Not a bad quest, but certainly not the most fun to do while you just walk around, tempted to just use the wiki. Compare that to Tower of Ascension, one of the most iconic Wynn quests, perhaps even the most iconic. You battle your way through increasingly harder and stronger foes, with an (imo) pretty good boss fight at the end. Also gives a lot of LE when completed. The only reason it doesn't seem as good is because the Hive exists, and is in almost every way better. Still, ToA is quite a good quest and it's really strange to see it lose against an, for me, quite boring quest.

Uh, and looking back, I can't really explain why I put Creeper Infiltration so high, as I do not think it's as good as Hidden City (better than A Grave Mistake though). I guess it's just really nostalgic for me, and you have to admit- aside from Deja Vu, it's one of the best early-game quests.

Anyway, I guess the competition isn't over, so here are my predictions, round 2!
    questpredict1.5.png questpredict2.5.png questpredict3.5.png questpredict4.5.png
'Reincarnation v A 1000 Meters Under ) v ( WynnExcavation Site D v Deja Vu' still stands as my prediction for the final four, with the same winners.
Predictions only start at the second row, I just fixed the results from the first round so it makes a bit more sense.

Memory paranoia vs the Qira hive not fair : (
TBH I think deja vu will be in the semi finals, finals, and maybe even have a chance in winning. The way they reworked that quest really shows how magical time valley really is!

As a side note I think that time valley is also one of the best-designed places in wynncraft. The way the fantasy styled building and the lore go together is just amazing. The music really fits the lore too.

I think your heavily over estimating reincarnation again, the results from round 1 were 55% for reincarnation and 45% for forbidden prison and concerning that the next quest is royal trials do you REALLY think that it's going to beat it?

Edit: And yes, I am one of the people who think that The Lost is better than ToA. ToA is a endless series of pure boredom with the only saving grace of it being Xaviers music composure's that goes along with it, otherwise its just kill 10 really annoying enemies with massive hp bars 63 times and 7 annoying bosses as well. Tbh I don't actually like Death's fight at all, I mean it's better than bob's that is for certain. But it's just another one of the boss fights that can't rely on one or two bosses (I say one or two because I actually really like Aerie of the Recluse) to make the fight a challenge and instead has to rely on annoying support enemies instead. At least with The Lost I can utilise cool weaponry after with life steal and stuff as well as going on a mildly interesting scavenger hunt in the process.

Edit 2: I'm also going to voting for Memory Paranoia over Qira Hive as well :P
