What's Up With The Lag?

What's up with the lag recently? It's so bad the game keeps freezing every 2-3 seconds and I can't do anything. my internet is fine as all the other servers are perfectly smooth. World with 0% lag and the music lags, horse doesn't spawn, and I just freeze until the mob kills me.


Edit: Not FPS lag. Running 60 FPS no problem. talking about ping lag

If it's not that, It is most likely something on your end. I'd suggest turning down your Render distance and such with Optifine if you have to make your game run smoother

 

I'm not talking FPS lag, talking about ping lag. Teleportation, insta kills from enemies, etc.

Probably something to do with the recent influx of players; wynn is used to getting like 600 at a time, so 1500ish might be pushing it

 

I think it's still the recent influx; in Europe timezones the lag has already lowered quite a bit compared to like two weeks ago, but you're probably playing on (American) prime-time, so the servers are having a hard time. Best way to fix this is to either wait it out or start playing at night.
